This is a proper commercial role. You'll be working directly with the Commercial Director, managing cost across multiple structural schemes from first estimate to final account.The company runs tight projects, values accuracy, and has a track record of delivering on budget.If you're good, there's genuine progression here.This isn't general Quantity Surveyor work. The focus is specifically on Cut & carve projects, Structural alterations and Temporary works environments (working alongside design and site teams)DAY-TO-DAYPrepare and manage cost estimates for structural projectsTrack budgets and produce regular financial reportsRun feasibility studies and advise on cost planningDeal with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to keep things commercially soundManage procurement, tendering, and contract negotiationsImplement cost control from start to finishKeep commercial records accurate and up to dateHandle contractual issues, including claims and disputes, when they come upABOUT YOUProven experience managing costs on structural and temporary works projectsDirect experience on cut & carve works (this is essential)Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilityComfortable working across multiple projects and staying on top of detailsYou need to have done this type of work before.
