Bennett and Game are working with an established civil engineering and highways contractor with a strong regional presence is seeking an experienced Civils Quantity Surveyor to join its Commercial Team. You will play a key role in managing financial control across multiple sites, protecting commercial interests and supporting the delivery of high-value infrastructure projects throughout the Northwest. Package: Competitive salary (DOE)car allowanceannual profit-related bonuspension, accident & life cover35 days annual leave including Christmas shutdown Key Responsibilities Preparing site measurements and weekly cost/production reportsCompleting cost forecasts and commercial reportingLiaising with site teams to assess and prepare quotations and estimatesManaging subcontractors (enquiries, orders, payment assessments)Producing valuations and submitting to clientsInterpreting drawings and instructions, agreeing estimates with site teams and clientsAgreeing final accounts with all parties in a timely mannerMonitoring stock control and reporting to the Financial DirectorSupporting finance/admin teams in account settlementAssisting monthly and quarterly reporting preparationMaintaining clear, accurate records and representing the business professionally at all timesAny other reasonable duties as required by management Experience & Requirements Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or related disciplineProven commercial experience within civil engineering (especially highways/structures)Extensive experience with private and public sector clientsSolid working knowledge of NEC (mainly) and JCT contract formsExcellent commercial awareness, interpersonal and communication skil
