Personnel Selection are recruiting for a prestigious client that provides electronic products internationally. They are based in the south of the UK in Whitchurch Hampshire. Due to expansion of workload, they are now seeking an additional Quality Inspector to join their friendly existing team. You will be an essential and valuable member of staff. This position is Monday to Friday standard days shift hours. 39 hours a week with an early finish on Fridays. You will be responsible for the inspection of engineered components coming into stores and manufactured in house. Inspection of goods to QA plan.Measurement using digital and non-digital equipment.Programing (and checking) for automated QC equipment.Work within department rules, addressing priorities set.Completion of concession and reject notes as required.Inspection and documenting of Sample/ISIR/FAI ReportsLiaison with suppliers on QA issuesRecord items on concession, reject and sample registers. You will be using and ideally have knowledge of some of the following equipment: Eye loupesSpring testersHardness testerAcoustic microscope (scanner)Vision Dimensional MeasurementCome from an engineering or component inspection backgroundBe able to read and decipher technical diagrams.Knowledge / use of Verniers, Micrometers, Multi-meters Our client offers: 37.5 hours per week plus occasional overtime.25 days holidayNon-contractual profit-related-payment (bonus)Company pensionMonthly time and attendance lottery of £1000 If you do not commute by car, This position is easily reachable on public transport services from Basingstoke and Andover, with regular services running every 30 minutes or so
