Job Title: Inspector / Quality InspectorType: Full-time, PermanentWe are recruiting for a skilled Inspector / Quality Inspector to join a precision engineering and manufacturing team.This role is ideal for someone with hands-on inspection experience who can confidently use precision measurement tools and work to tight engineering tolerances.Key ResponsibilitiesInspect both manufactured and bought-in parts to ensure they meet engineering specificationsPerform first-off inspection, patrol inspection and final inspection throughout productionUse precision measurement equipment including CMMs, height gauges, micrometres, callipers and surface roughness instrumentsRead and interpret detailed engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerances and technical documentationCalibrate, maintain and update in-house measuring equipmentAccurately complete all inspection paperwork, reports and process documentationSupport and contribute to the NCR (Non-Conformance Reporting) processCommunicate inspection results and quality issues clearly with production and managementSkills & Experience RequiredPrevious experience as an Inspector, Quality Inspector, Mechanical Inspector, or Machining InspectorStrong understanding of precision machining, manufacturing processes or metrologyConfident with measurement tools and manual inspection methodsExcellent attention to detail and methodical working styleClear written and verbal communication skillsBenefitsSick payBereavement leaveFree parking & on-site parkingCompany pensionCycle to work scheme
