This could be the role for you We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established client who are looking to appoint a Quality Inspector to join their Quality team. The role focuses on ensuring mechanical components, sub-assemblies and finished products meet required engineering, quality and compliance standards, helping to support smooth production and customer expectations. Quality Inspector - Key responsibilities - Mechanical Engineering Inspect incoming mechanical parts against engineering drawings, specifications and purchase order requirements Complete in-process and final inspections of components and assemblies Identify, record and escalate non-conformances in line with QMS procedures Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions when issues arise Read and interpret technical drawings, tolerances and specifications accurately Help maintain calibration compliance and traceability of inspection equipment Accurately log inspection outcomes and quality data within the ERP system Support goods-in and goods-out checks during busy periods to prevent delays Quality Inspector - Essential experience - Mechanical Engineering Mechanical engineering background or strong hands-on inspection experience Confident working with mechanical drawings and tolerances Previous experience in quality inspection or mechanical inspection Good computer skills High attention to detail with a structured, methodical approach Exposure to ATEX, industrial or hazardous-area equipment Quality Inspector, Mechanical Engi
