Role purpose The key purpose of the Quality Assurance Lead role is to establish, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality assurance frameworks and practices across the full technology lifecycle. This strategic role within the Technology Delivery team drives quality governance, testing services, and quality improvement initiatives to support both project delivery and business-as-usual (BAU) technology operations across multiple platform teams. We’re seeking a Quality Assurance Lead to design and drive strategies that ensure our platforms meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and compliance. About the Role As our Quality Assurance Lead, you’ll own the end-to-end quality strategy across technology delivery. From governance frameworks to innovative testing solutions, you’ll play a critical role in shaping how we deliver excellence. What You’ll Do Set the Standard: Develop and implement quality assurance frameworks and governance processes that align with organisational technology objectives. Lead Testing Excellence: Define and execute comprehensive testing strategies for projects and BAU initiatives, including functional, integration, performance, and UAT. Champion automation to boost efficiency. Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with Technology Delivery, Development, and Business teams to ensure alignment and represent QA in strategic discussions and roadmap planning. Innovate & Improve: Continuously refine QA methodologies, introduce cutting-edge tools, and lead initiatives that elevate testing effectiveness. Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventative measures. What We’re Looking For Experience: 7–10+ years in QA and testing leadership within complex technology environments. Proven success in building quality frameworks and implementing automation strategies. Strong track record across full technology project lifecycles. Knowledge: Deep understanding of software development and testing methodologies. Expertise in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and automation frameworks. Familiarity with cloud/on-prem environments and CI/CD processes. Experience building a test framework from the ground up for projects/portfolio, and be hands on Capabilities: Strategic thinker with exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills. Advanced problem-solving and communication abilities. Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
