About the teamPractice and Quality is at the heart of this role, placing you in a key position to influence practice across Adult Care Services. Delivering practice guidance to practitioners and overseeing processes for quality assurance which identify themes for learning, this ensures that people we assess receive the highest quality social care interventions and support.The Practice Quality Team is a small team including a business analyst, policy officer, quality monitoring practitioner, a senior admin officer and a part time quality assurance and audit manager.The team work closely with operational colleagues at all levels to support high quality, evidence based and person-centred practice and also have an influence on areas for improvement at a strategic level. The Practice Quality Team also oversee the Research Governance Panel and manage projects that have been identified to support the development of practice.About the roleYou will be a leader in Practice Quality and will apply your own excellent practice knowledge and experience to the quality assurance activities, supporting Adult Care Services to meet its service priorities and national performance requirements.Reporting to the Practice Quality Team Manager you will collaborate with other team members to oversee and manage the quality assurance activities, including the development of new audit tools and the reporting of audit findings for practitioners. You will have the opportunity to deliver presentations and workshops using expert knowledge of legislation, research and practice guidance.The Quality Assurance & Audit Manager (QAAM) role provides leadership in Adult Care Services (ACS) with new innovative projects providing subject matter expertise. Using your experience from practice and understanding of the Local Authorities legal duties, the QAAM also promotes reflection.You will contribute
