We have a Centre of Excellence in Witney for the development and manufacture of electrodes and biosensors used by patients and healthcare professionals for the day-to-day management of diabetes. The site has been instrumental in the research, development and manufacture of the FreeStyle Libre Flash Glucose Monitoring System as well as exciting developments in the Libre family including FreeStyle Libre 2, FreeStyle Libre 3 and the Libre Sense system. We have an exciting opportunity to join our Quality team as a QA Associate, Calibration, supporting our wider quality team in ensuring compliance to site and divisional policies and procedures. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: · support and make recommendations for the development, implementation and improvement of ADC quality systems for calibration · perform calibrations, scheduling and performing internal and external requirements to the correct standard, accuracy, and frequency · oversee calibration records (including calibration alerts / requests / procedures and training materials), ensuring these are maintained, accurate & periodically reviewed · support system activities (Maximo), including Asset creation, data sheets, Preventive Maintenance schedules and provision of training This role works 8am to 4pm Mon to Fri To be successful, you will have a minimum of secondary level education (to include English and Maths), and ideally bring experience in a similar role, or quality based environment. Preference is given to those with prior calibration experience, ideally from a Laboratory environment. Good IT skills are required for this role along with strong written and oral skills to help generate clear and legible documentation and understand technical information. Some of your work will involve cross-functional teams, so you’ll also need the communication and inter-personal skills to be able to build relationships with colleagues in various departments across the business.
