Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Falkirk Council's Children and Families East Locality Team. This is a full time role offering a fantastic competitive pay rate.

Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied caseload, including statutory child protection and looked-after children cases, in line with relevant legislation, national guidance, and council policies.
- Conduct thorough assessments of the needs of children, young people, and their families to determine appropriate interventions and support plans.
- Develop, implement, and review Child's Plans and Care Plans in collaboration with children, families, other professionals, and partner agencies.
- Prepare for and participate in statutory processes such as Child Protection Case Conferences, Children's Hearings, and court proceedings, providing written reports and verbal evidence as required.
- Provide direct social work support and therapeutic interventions to children and families to safeguard and promote their welfare.
- Undertake risk assessments and implement safety plans to protect children from harm, escalating concerns promptly where necessary.
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners, including health, education, police, and third-sector organisations, to ensure holistic and coordinated service delivery.
- Promote and support positive relationships between children, their families, and carers, including kinship and foster carers.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and high-quality records and case notes on the relevant electronic systems, ensuring compliance with data protection and confidentiality protocols.
- Participate actively in supervision, team meetings, and continuous professional development (CPD) to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and review of service delivery within the East Locality team.
Requirements:
- Social Work Degree
- SSSC registration
- PVG
