- A unique opportunity has become available for you to be part of our team. We are looking for someone to work two days a week at our beautiful village Preschool.
- We are currently following the 'Curiosity Approach' and have created a relaxed child-led environment encouraging our children to learn through the awe and wonder of the world around them. We are a Makaton friendly setting, and our children thrive under our early phonics interventions.

- We are a small village preschool setting in Winsley which is a lovely place to work, with fantastic links to the local community. We offer plenty of training opportunities and personal development for staff. We are a small caring team that work well together and always support one other. - We can offer some flexibility with hours, which can be discussed for the right candidate.
Job description
- We are looking for a Level 2 or above, qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our team, term time only, Monday – Friday and no weekends.
- - Applicants will need experience working with children and be confident to learn to use our on line learning journey system and be a key person in our setting. To assist with the planning of the curriculum using the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) for guidance.
- - To act as a key person to a small group of children, liaising closely and building an effective relationship with parents/carers and ensuring each child’s needs are recognised and met.
- - To actively participate at team meetings, supervision meetings and appraisal meetings.
- - To attend training courses as required and to take responsibility for personal development.
- - To take action to support the setting to achieve and maintain a minimum good Ofsted rating at the next inspection.
- - To teach children, offering an appropriate level of support and stimulating play experiences.
- - To ensure that children are kept safe and that you understand when to follow child protection procedures.
