What You'll Be Doing
As part of the Qualified Teaching team, you will:
Deliver support and instruction based on behaviour analysis and positive reinforcement techniques to help autistic pupils accelerate their learning.
Work with pupils in small groups or on a 1:1 basis, using specialised support plans to help them reach their full potential
Design, plan, and deliver the wider school curriculum and special events to enhance learning and development.
Collect, record, and analyse data to track progress and develop support plans
Contribute to the design of an engaging, differentiated school curriculum (long, medium, and short-term plans).
Lead and participate in educational visits and off-site activities (during school hours).
Key Requirements
To thrive in this role, you will need:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teaching & Learning Status (QTLS). (Early Careers Teachers must have completed a minimum of 1 year of the supported induction process in a mainstream setting).
UK school system teaching experience and an understanding of the National Curriculum in England.
An interest in or experience with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Confidence in working with children who exhibit challenging behaviours.
The willingness to support with personal/intimate care where required.
A commitment to ongoing training and professional development

Compensation and Contract Details
Salary: From £34,398 per annum plus the £1000 Joining Bonus.
Contract: Term time Only.
Working Hours:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8:45am-4:45pm
Tuesday: 8:45am-5:30pm
Friday: 8:45am-4:30pm
