We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate is proactive, flexible, and comfortable working with diverse near- and off-shore teams and US-based stakeholders. You will drive quality across manual, automated, and data testing, define test strategy, and embed testing into CI/CD to enable reliable, frequent releases.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and execute test strategies and plans across manual, automation, and data testing.
  • Design test cases, maintain clear documentation, and ensure traceability to requirements.
  • Build and maintain automated test suites for UI and APIs; enable shift-left testing.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and establish quality gates and reporting.
  • Design and validate data testing using SQL and synthetic datasets to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and US stakeholders to align on scope, priorities, and release criteria.
  • Track quality metrics, manage defects, communicate risks, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to QA standards, tooling, and best practices.


  • Hard Skills – Must have:
  • Strong QA experience across manual and test automation in agile environments.
  • Hands-on automation using one or more frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
  • API testing experience using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
  • Strong SQL skills and practical experience with data testing and synthetic data generation/validation.
  • Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines and working with Git-based workflows.
  • Familiarity with test case and defect management tools such as Jira/Xray, TestRail, or Azure DevOps.
  • Comfortable collaborating with distributed teams and US-based clients.


  • Nice to have / It’s a plus:
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI, including test reporting.
  • Data quality frameworks such as Great Expectations or dbt tests; exposure to data platforms like Snowflake.
  • Performance testing with JMeter or k6 and basic security testing practices.
  • Contract testing (e.g., Pact), mobile testing (e.g., Appium), and accessibility testing.
  • Background in SaaS environments and multi-tenant application testing.


  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong communication skills, initiative, and problem-solving mindset.
  • High ownership, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and collaborate across functions.
  • Experience facilitating discovery and clearly reporting risks, issues, and recommendations.
