Senior Python Django DeveloperCentral London - one day a week in the office£75-85k + benefitsWe’re seeking a topflight Senior Python Django Developer with a strong software engineering background including 8-9+ years majoring in writing Backend applications using Python and Django (Rest Framework).This is a seriously weighty, complex, technically challenging role; the successful Python Django Developer will be 'red hot' on the core backend skill requirements. Demonstrably the 'go to' person in your role.The backend Python Developer will be joining a team of 45 at a world-class healthcare scaleup. With each integration of a new hospital group there is an acceleration of the rapid scaling of patient user numbers - you will help to solve these challenging scaling problems.Responsibilities:Work on new product features contributing to architecture and implementationRefactor existing code and services to support scalability and growth of complexityProactively respond to analytics to ensure our products are robust and meet users’ needsTake technical ownership of areas of productRequired:8-9+ years of experience writing backend applications using Python and Django (Rest Framework) or related frameworks, e.g. Flask, FastAPI or similarGood understanding of ORM (either Django or SQLAlchemy)Good understanding of Python Unit Testing frameworks and TDD practicesExperience working with Cloud Infrastructure (Ideally AWS)Good understanding of Git, and CI/CDNice-to-haves:Deeper understanding of SQLKnowledge of front-end technologies such as Vue or ReactExperience with handling sensitive data (e.g. PII)Experience working in a startup environmentSenior Python Django Developer
