Job Description Summary As a key member of the Sourcing team, the Purchasing Coordinator ensures the seamless flow of goods and data across the supply chain. This role balances operational precision with proactive communication, supporting both internal teams and external partners to meet customer demand efficiently and compliantly. How will you make an impact & Requirement Responsibilities Place purchase orders in line with customer demand and company inventory policies, ensuring timely availability of stock across all business units. Monitor and assess stock levels across departments, adjusting order quantities to reflect real-time demand and avoid overstock or shortages. Liaise with suppliers to confirm delivery dates, expedite delayed orders, and proactively update internal systems and stakeholders on any risks or changes. Investigate and resolve queries related to order fulfilment, working cross-functionally to ensure swift and accurate outcomes. Generate timely, accurate reports to support business decisions and customer requirements. Use compliance tools to identify and correct data discrepancies affecting procurement and fulfilment. Manage shared mailboxes with diligence, ensuring prompt, professional responses and maintaining clear categorisation and filing for audit readiness. Validate supplier invoices against purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies to ensure smooth payment processing. Provide general administrative assistance to the Sourcing team, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and supporting cross-functional projects as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in purchasing or supply chain roles. Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to document, manage, prioritise, and efficiently handle high workloads. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, at an intermediate level. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clarity and professionalism in interactions. A solid educational background, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes.
