Alexander Daniels is proud to be partnering with a well-established business based in Coventry, seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Manager to join their finance team on a full-time, permanent basis. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of the Accounts Payable function, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, payments, and reconciliations. You will lead a dedicated team, drive process improvements, and maintain compliance with company policies and financial regulations. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all Accounts Payable operations, including invoice processing, approvals, and payments.Ensure strict adherence to company policies, approval limits, and internal financial controls.Monitor team workflow and performance, resolving issues to maintain accuracy and efficiency.Collaborate effectively with Procurement, Finance, and other internal teams to ensure smooth transaction processing.Provide strong leadership and direction to the Accounts Payable team.Manage supplier relationships and internal stakeholder communications.Track performance metrics (KPIs) and conduct regular team performance reviews. Experience and Skills: 3-5 years of experience in a similar Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger management role.Proficiency in accounting and ERP software.Proven leadership abilities with a track record of managing and developing teams.Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
