Reed Accountancy are currently assisting an established client in the Horsham area in the recruitment of an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their busy finance team in Horsham. Reporting to the Finance Director this role will be responsible for the following duties: Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day running of theaccounts payable functionEnsure all invoices are authorised and posted accuratelyCode transactions to SageConduct weekly payment runs, including employee expensesPerform statement reconciliationsAssist with VAT return updatesSupport month-end reporting and reconciliationsEnter purchase invoices for associated entities as required Skills & Experience: Solid accounts payable and expenses experienceExperience with Sage Intacct is highly advantageousStrong Excel skills, including the ability to create pivot tablesQuick to learn new systems and challenge existing processesA friendly and inquisitive approach to problem-solving An exciting opportunity to join this established team so don't delay apply now
