We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our Accounting & Finance team in Manchester. The role involves managing purchase ledger processes and supporting financial operations within the property industry. Description Process supplier invoices and ensure accurate coding within the system.Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.Prepare and process payment runs in a timely manner.Maintain and update purchase ledger accounts.Assist with month-end tasks, including reporting and reconciliations.Handle supplier queries and ensure effective communication.Support the Accounting & Finance team with administrative tasks.Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations. Profile A successful Purchase Ledger Assistant should have: Previous experience in a similar role within the Accounting & Finance sector.Knowledge of purchase ledger processes and financial systems.Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.An understanding of the property industry is advantageous.
