Job Description

Based at Rockwell Learning Centre, you will work 32.5 hours per week, term time only on a temporary basis until April 2026.

Requirements

You will have 3 National 5s, or equivalent, to include English and Maths.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Senior Leadership Team, with the support of the wider team, you will be working with children, young people and their parents/carers.

The Individual

You will have experience of working with children and young people, including those with learning needs. You will also have experience of word processing, computer input and general admin duties with good communication and keyboard skills.

You will have the ability to work well under direction, use own initiative as required and work as part of a team. You will be reliable and conscientious with a friendly, open nature and a flexible attitude to sharing responsibilities and willingness to undertake training.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
