We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Hourly Paid Lecturers (HPLs) to join our dynamic Public Services teaching team. If you have a passion for education and a background in public services—such as the armed forces, emergency services, or local government—this is a fantastic opportunity to share your experience and help shape future careers.
Curriculum Area: Public Services
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, flexible teaching in Public Services.
- Engage students with real-world scenarios and practical learning.
- Support learners through effective assessment and feedback.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and development.
- Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge through CPD.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the student experience.
Essential Experience:
- Strong subject knowledge in Public Services.
- Relevant qualifications or professional experience in the sector.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Passion for teaching and student success.
- Flexibility to work across sites and varied schedules.
Desirable Experience:
- Teaching experience in further education or similar settings.
- Practical experience in public service roles.
- Experience working with diverse learner groups.
- Ability to plan and deliver inclusive, engaging lessons.
