Job Summary
Sheddens Bar is a busy local pub on Shettleston Road in the east end of the city. We are looking for someone to come on board who has worked in a busy local pub environment and is used to busy days when football matches are on.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
• Engage with customers, providing friendly and efficient service while taking orders and answering queries.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments.
• Assist in restocking supplies and managing inventory levels as needed.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for both staff and patrons.
• Closing the building safely and securely on quieter shifts.

Qualifications

• Strong hospitality skills with a genuine desire to help customers enjoy their experience.
• Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Excellent time management abilities to handle busy periods effectively.
• A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well within a team are essential attributes for success in this role.

This role would suit someone who has worked in a traditional pub environment for 2-3 years and is comfortable working alone on quieter shifts.
