About the Role
We are looking for a highly enthusiastic and qualified Psychology Teacher to join a successful and expanding department. This role involves teaching Psychology to students across various levels, inspiring a deep interest in the subject, and maintaining our high standards of academic achievement.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons for Psychology courses (e.g., A-Level, IB, or equivalent).
- Assess and track student progress, providing comprehensive feedback and setting clear targets for improvement.
- Develop and update curriculum materials to reflect current psychological research and educational best practices.
- Promote a stimulating classroom atmosphere that encourages open discussion, ethical consideration, and independent research.
- Supervise and guide students through practical research projects and extended essays (where applicable).
- Contribute actively to the academic and pastoral life of the school, including participation in departmental meetings and extracurricular activities.
What We're Looking For:
- A degree in Psychology and a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Demonstrable experience teaching Psychology at the secondary/post-16 level.
- Exceptional subject knowledge across key psychological approaches and research methods.
- The ability to inspire and motivate students from diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- A commitment to using varied and innovative teaching methods, including technology, to enhance learning.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A proactive willingness to engage in continuous professional development.
