As a Proposal Team Manager at Businessolver, you'll lead our dynamic proposal team, overseeing the entire RFI/RFP process. Your role is pivotal in ensuring timely, high-quality responses that align with our innovative benefits technology and empathetic service approach. You'll mentor RFP writers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and uphold our commitment to delivering delight to clients and prospects.

The Gig:

  • Team Leadership & Development: Manage and mentor a team of RFP writers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Process Management: Oversee the end-to-end RFI/RFP process, ensuring efficient workflows and adherence to deadlines.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct final reviews of proposal content to maintain consistency in messaging and alignment with Businessolver's brand voice.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Sales Consultants, Strategic Advisors, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather accurate and up-to-date information for proposals.
  • Resource Development: Develop and maintain tools, templates, and resources to streamline the proposal creation process.
  • Escalation Point: Act as the primary point of contact for resolving issues that arise during the RFP process, ensuring timely and effective solutions.

What you need to make the cut:

  • Minimum of 5 - 10 years of experience in technical writing, with a focus on RFPs and proposals.
  • Proven experience using standardized RFP templates and response tools.
  • Background in the SaaS industry; experience in benefits administration is highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The pay range for this position is $88K to $110K per year (pay to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data). 

This role is eligible to participate in the annual bonus incentive plan.
