This is a pivotal role, reporting directly to the Head of Property, and will play a key part in shaping the future of the council's property portfolio.As a Strategic Property Surveyor, you will support the development and delivery of the Corporate Property Strategy, providing high-level professional, technical, and strategic advice across all council departments.You will influence decision-making at a senior level and contribute to the efficient, sustainable management of the council's diverse property assets.Key Responsibilities? Provide expert strategic property advice to senior leadership and service areas? Support the formulation, implementation, and monitoring of the Council's Corporate Property Strategy? Lead on strategic asset reviews, property evaluations, and optimisation projects? Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure property solutions meet service needs? Oversee key workstreams relating to acquisitions, disposals, lease management, and asset planning? Ensure property decisions align with legislation, best practice, and value-for-money principles?
