We are looking for our future Project Manager - Finance PMO to join our team in Harwell, Didcot, UK. What You'll Do In this role reporting to the Senior Manager - Finance PMO, you will help manage key Finance projects and play a critical supporting role in finance. Project management responsibilities include the coordination of all aspects of projects: developing work plans, tracking task status, RAID log and summarizing progress of projects. You will participate in initiatives ranging from small, well-defined projects to large, transformational, complex, cross-functional programs including a global cloud ERP implementation. You will also prepare and update portfolio, program, and project dashboards to keep all informed and updated. You will support project management practices to drive effective, efficient, high-quality delivery that consistently meets or exceeds the expectations of the business. This visible position requires relationship management and collaboration at all levels of the organization, working with global teams across functions. The successful candidate must be able to understand and articulate the business objectives driving initiatives to ensure strategic alignment and successful execution. Excellent communication skills with strong experience in supporting business-side activities for complex global ERP projects is essential. This is a business focused role – the individual will not be leading a technical team but will focus on supporting the accountability of business team tasks. Occasional travel to other domestic and international offices may also be required. Additionally, this role will require flexibility to meet with global teams in different time-zones on a regular basis. This is a hybrid role that requires 2 days a week in our Harwell office. Key responsibilities : Lead and support end-to-end delivery (from initiation through delivery) of Finance transformation initiatives, including ERP implementations, process optimization, and other strategic projects Coordinate and support cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement activity which bring distinct, specific projects to completion both on time and within budget. Support team members and foster strong, collaborative working relationships Support and participates in development of the project plans for the workstream including stakeholder engagement, communications, change impacts and training Support and participates in development of the implementation plan for the workstream including all actions from each workstream capability to develop the function approach and plan for Implementation. Contributes to and reviews key workstream deliverables Advises the workstream leads and other leaders within the workstream on project implementation priorities. Participates in all project management meetings and adheres to governance and disciplines of approved processes for the Finance PMO. Facilitate and document lessons learned and best practice with other Functional Change Leads Assists with Change Management planning and activities Assists in developing the training plan and approach Supports and contributes to the on-going maturity of project management disciplines which support the collaboration, visibility and transparency for cross functional Resmed programs/projects. What You Bring : Required: Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, transformation, or PMO roles, preferably within Finance Proven experience managing Finance ERP or large-scale systems implementations. Strong understanding of finance processes (e.g., record-to-report, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash) Experience supporting the management of risks and anticipate potential issues that pose a threat to achieving project goals; propose plans to resolve issues and execute corrective actions. Experience working with audit, risk, or compliance-driven initiatives. Ability to work effectively across Finance, IT, and business teams across various geographies. Ability to operate within the Finance PMO framework, ensuring adherence to project management standards, methodologies, and controls Strong project planning, organization, and prioritization skills Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Cultivate strong stakeholder relationships and maintain effective communication channels, ensuring all stakeholders are aware of project decisions and status. Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail Comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving transformation environments Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field Project Management Certification such as CAPM or PMP. Familiarity with Smartsheet for Project Management. Experience as a Project Manager in a Finance PMO, Shared Services setting and external vendor management ERP experience with platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar Change management or process improvement experience (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) Supports the program alignment with other company initiatives and manage cross-project dependencies. Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
