About

St Austell Brewery is looking for a Programme Manager to support the implementation of a transformation programme, alongside other smaller projects. You’ll take the reins on managing the planning and roadmap scheduling of development work, liaising with all stakeholders to ensure effective delivery.

Please note: This is an onsite, full time role for 35 hours a week from January 2026, based at St Austell Brewery in St Austell.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead the delivery of the transformation programme, ensuring that execution aligns with the established programme plan, timelines and strategic business objectives.

· Co-ordinate project activities, working closely with internal and external vendors to ensure timely completion of tasks and milestones.

· Act as the primary point of contact for project delivery, ensuring effective communication between stakeholders.

· Support relevant business teams in translating business requirements into system functionality, ensuring the programme goals meet operational needs across the relevant business areas.

· Monitor progress against plan, proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges, and escalating where necessary.

· Facilitate stakeholder engagement and change readiness, including training, communications, and user adoption activities to ensure a smooth transition to the new ways of working.

· Ensure quality assurance across deliverables, including testing coordination, data validation, and compliance with relevant policies and Standard Operating Procedures.

· Contribute to post implementation review activities, capturing lessons learned and supporting continuous improvement of systems and processes throughout.

About you:

· Recognised Project Management Qualification

· Proven experience in Project Management, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

· Brewery/Drinks/Distribution Industry Experience desirable.

· Strong understanding of Project Management methodologies, tools, and techniques, with proficiency in project planning, scheduling, and resource management.

· Proven experience of risk management, mitigation and escalation.

· Managing projects with significant (£0.5m+) investment.

· Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate cross functional teams and stakeholders at all levels across the company.

· Analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions to achieve project objectives.
