This is a hands-on role that combines operational leadership with direct involvement in production activities, specifically within processing. You'll be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of products in line with customer requirements, managing a team of operators, and maintaining high standards of health and safety across the production area. Key Responsibilities Health & Safety Adhere to all site health and safety procedures.Maintain Risk Assessment and COSHH documentation.Ensure workstation and surrounding areas meet housekeeping standards.Conduct scheduled area inspections.Record all incidents, accidents, and observations appropriately. Production Management Oversee daily operations and optimise workflow across shifts.Provide clear handovers between shifts.Monitor bottleneck processes and ensure continuous workflow.Track order progress and ensure timely delivery.Coordinate with engineering teams to resolve process and equipment issues.Manage external batch processing and shipments.Support continuous improvement initiatives. Consumables & Materials Maintain stock levels of consumables and chemicals.Conduct weekly stock checks and ensure safe storage and handling.Monitor expiry dates and ensure proper usage rotation. Team Leadership Act as the first point of contact for operator queries
