A well-established company in the education supplies industry is looking for a Book Binder/ Print Finisher to join its team. As a Book Binder you will be operating and maintaining paper-conversion machinery while ensuring quality, safety, and smooth workflow throughout the production process.Book Binder responsibilities:Operate and set up machinery used for paper conversion.Keep equipment running efficiently throughout the shift.Carry out routine maintenance tasks as outlined in the planned schedule.Maintain a clean and organised working area.Perform regular quality inspections to ensure standards are met.Follow instructions carefully to complete each task to the required level.Comply with all Health & Safety guidelines and company procedures at all times.Skills & experience required: Experience in a similar environment is beneficial but not essential. Able to work effectively as part of a team and communicate well with colleagues. Strong attendance record and reliable timekeeping. Good understanding of paper dimensions and strong accuracy levels. Practical thinker with solid problem-solving skills and a good general education. Self-motivated and confident working independently with minimal supervision. Comfortable with manual handling and physically demanding tasks.
