Morson Edge are recruiting a number of skilled Production Fitters to work on an initial 6-month contract with our client Marshall Land Systems (https://) at their site in Cambridge (postcode is CB5 8RX) The role plays a pivotal part in high-profile military projects, dealing with the production of both vehicles and containers, and your ideas and contribution will be valued in a business where people really matter Rates: PAYE: £18.12 per hour (carries £2.82’s worth of holiday pay on top of every hour worked so total hourly pay is £20.94 per hour) Overtime (after 37 hours & Saturdays) £27.18 per hour, Sundays £36.24 per hour UMBRELLA pays £24.93 per hour Overtime (after 37 hours & Saturdays) £37.39/hour, Sundays £49.85/hour If you go with an Umbrella company there are deductions (employers NI, apprentice levy etc) plus the Umbrella companies own fee: ask for further details/breakdown Purpose of the Role: The role is responsible for carrying out routine assembly and installation tasks in line with defined work instructions, task sheets, and standard operating procedures. The role supports the delivery of safe, timely, and compliant production output through accurate workmanship, effective teamwork, and adherence to quality and health & safety requirements. This role operates under direct supervision and is focused on repeatable, clearly defined tasks within the production environment.
