Are you a skilled Production Brazer/Welder looking for a role with purpose? We are hiring for a permanent position in Denham, Middlesex, with a British engineering firm that builds life-saving technology for military aircraft.
About the RoleAs a vital part of the team, you will be responsible for a variety of welding and brazing operations, helping to assemble parts and sub-assemblies. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside industry experts, gain new skills, and develop your knowledge in a high-tech manufacturing environment. You will also assist with development activities and provide welding support to the maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities:

Brazing low-temperature silver and high-temperature brass work.
Welding aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel to a high standard.
Operating a spot welder and carrying out deburring, polishing, and quality tests.
Assisting with Proof of Concept and other development welding activities.
Providing welding support for the maintenance team.

What We're Looking For ...

We are seeking a candidate with a strong engineering background who is able to read and interpret engineering drawings. You should also have:

Experience using measuring equipment, gas cutters, and grinders.
Knowledge and experience with engineering hand tools.
Certification to BS EN:12797:2000 and AWSD17.1/D17.1M:2010-AMD1.
