Our client is looking for someone to join their team to do Product/Software TestingHours of work: Mon - Fri 9am - 5.30pmSalary £30,000 - £35,000 DOEWithin this role you be involved with testing and validating new hardware and software products before they go to market. You’ll be responsible for identifying issues, liaising with developers to resolve faults, and ensuring all products meet both technical and compliance standards. Your role will be split between product testing and evaluation (around 50%) and compliance and documentation (around 50%), giving you a broad and varied workload that combines technical, analytical, and process-driven responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:Plan and carry out testing of hardware and software products, identifying performance issues and areas for improvement.Get hands-on with new products to gain a deep understanding of functionality, performance, and user experienceWork closely with overseas developers to communicate bugs or faults and support resolution.Ensure all products meet CE and relevant regulatory standards, maintaining up-to-date compliance records.Produce detailed test reports, maintain product documentation, and verify technical specifications.Provide feedback to enhance product design, functionality, and usability.Work with Product Managers, Engineers, and Quality teams to ensure successful new product launches.Requirements: Experience in product or software testingStrong attention to detail and accuracy in documentationConfident with technical data, reports, and specificationsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilityExcellent communication and collaboration skillsOrganised, methodical, and able to manage multiple tasksExperience liaising
