  • Working in our Procurement and Supply Chain Team
  • Our Supply Chain team ensures every Open Cosmos mission is supported by the right suppliers, components and services to successfully build, launch and operate our satellite platforms.
  • We’re looking for a Product Procurement Specialist: AOCS (ADCS, Star Trackers, Propulsion) to manage sourcing of attitude determination, control systems and propulsion components — the systems that enable our satellites to orient, stabilise and manoeuvre in orbit. This is a critical area directly linked to mission performance and control.
  • You’ll work closely with engineering, mission management and logistics teams to ensure attitude control and propulsion components are sourced and delivered in line with mission performance requirements and integration timelines.
  • What will you be doing?
  • Managing procurement of AOCS components including ADCS, star trackers and propulsion systems
  • Coordinating suppliers for high-precision attitude control and propulsion hardware
  • Supporting sourcing aligned with mission performance and integration requirements
  • Creating and managing purchase orders in internal systems
  • Acting as the primary procurement contact for suppliers within your category
  • Tracking supplier commitments, lead times and deliveries, escalating risks as required
  • Supporting supplier performance monitoring across cost, quality and delivery
  • Maintaining accurate procurement data for planning, reporting and audit requirements
  • Providing procurement input to engineering and programme teams
  • Supporting risk identification and mitigation for long-lead or critical items
  • What You’ll bring
  • Understanding of direct procurement for complex, engineered or service-based environments
  • Ability to interpret technical and programme requirements into procurement actions
  • Working knowledge of supplier management and purchase order processes
  • Understanding of lead times, delivery commitments and supply risk
  • Confidence working with ERP or procurement systems
  • Commercial awareness including cost control and value assessment
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
