Project Overview We're building a DMCA takedown service to compete with industry leaders like Bruqi, Rulta, and DMCA.com. We need an experienced Product Manager to conduct a detailed competitive analysis and create comprehensive product documentation for our development team. Project Duration: 1 week (40hr week) Budget: $1,000 Start Date: Immediately What You'll Do Week 1: Competitive Analysis & Research Sign up for and thoroughly document the complete onboarding flows of 3-4 competitor services (we'll provide accounts/reimburse) Map every screen, field, validation, and user decision point Document API calls, technical requirements, and system behaviors using browser DevTools Identify conversion optimization tactics, friction points, and drop-off risks Create detailed user journey maps with timing and parameter documentation Week 2: Product Specification & Documentation Transform research into actionable product requirements Create complete technical specifications including: User stories with acceptance criteria API endpoint requirements Validation rules and error states Database schema requirements State management flow Design an optimized onboarding flow that reduces time-to-value Produce developer-ready documentation with all parameters clearly defined Deliverables (Must Be Completed) 1. Competitive Analysis Report Complete onboarding flow maps for Bruqi + 2 other competitors Screenshots of every step with annotations Feature comparison matrix Timing analysis (how long each step takes) Identified improvement opportunities 2. Technical Product Specification markdownIncluding but not limited to: - User journey map (visual diagram) - Complete field validation matrix (spreadsheet) - API endpoint documentation with request/response examples - State machine diagram - Error message catalog - Email template requirements - Mobile vs desktop flow differences 3. User Stories & Requirements 20-30 detailed user stories with acceptance criteria Prioritized feature list for MVP vs. post-launch Edge cases and error handling requirements A/B testing recommendations 4. Implementation Guide Step-by-step onboarding flow for our service Parameter documentation (rate limits, validation rules, etc.) Integration requirements (payment, email, SMS) Recommended tech stack for implementation Required Skills & Experience Must-Haves: ✅ 3+ years Product Management experience with SaaS products ✅ Proven experience analyzing and documenting competitor products ✅ Technical proficiency with browser DevTools, API analysis, and basic understanding of web technologies ✅ Strong documentation skills - ability to create clear, developer-ready specifications ✅ Experience with user journey mapping and conversion funnel optimization ✅ Excellent written English and attention to detail
