About the role

• Launch your career in Product Design, UX, and UI with a hands-on internship at Goodnotes. This is not a shadowing role. As a design intern, you’ll work on real problems, ship real work, and collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and engineers.

We are hiring two Product Design Interns, each joining a different team

• 1. Product Design Intern - Growth Team
• The Growth team focuses on how users discover, activate, retain, and upgrade within Goodnotes. This includes onboarding, experimentation, monetization flows, and cross-platform experiences that help users get value faster. Candidate must be based in Singapore.

• What you’ll work on
• Design flows that improve activation, engagement, and conversion
• Support growth experiments across web, tablet, and mobile
• Collaborate with PMs and engineers on data-informed design decisions
• Explore how design impacts business outcomes, not just visuals
• Contribute to the Goodnotes design system in Figma

• 2. Product Design Intern - B2B Team
• The B2B team builds Goodnotes for teams, organizations, and education partners. You’ll help design experiences for admins, teams, and shared workspaces, focusing on scalability, trust, and clarity. Candidate must be based in London.

• What you’ll work on
• Design experiences for integrations, collaboration, and workspaces.
• Work on complex, real-world product problems with multiple user types
• Collaborate closely with senior designers on structured product flows
• Help evolve our design system for B2B use cases
• Learn how enterprise needs differ from consumer products

This is the role for you, if you’re excited to work on the things listed below

• Design in Figma, following and contributing to a shared design system
• Support the full design process: exploration, wireframes, UI, and iteration
• Run or assist with usability testing and synthesize insights
• Collaborate closely with engineers and product managers
• Learn how high-quality product design ships in a real production environment

What you need to be successful

• Penultimate or final-year student in Product Design, UX, HCI, Visual Design, or a related field
• Strong visual and interaction design fundamentals
• Confidence using Figma
• Advanced or proficient level of English
• Curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn
• Passion for digital note-taking and productivity tools

Preferred requirements

• Familiarity with user research methods
• Experience contributing to a design system
• Fluency in additional languages
• Previous use of Goodnotes (especially for the B2B team)
