Reporting into the Head of Procurement, this role will suit an Indirect Procurement professional who can take ownership and drive best-practice across this area.Key areas of focus pertain to: supporting business planning activity; developing and embedding the category procurement strategy; providing procurement expertise to internal stakeholders; delivering procurement activity from end to end; and driving supplier performance and innovation. This exciting role will appeal to Procurement professional with the ability to act as a true ambassador for procurement across the organisation who can raise both levels of capability and engagement within the organisation.You will have the ability to build and develop effective relationships with key internal stakeholders demonstrating a full understanding of their drivers & requirements and identifying and providing appropriate support & solutions. With exceptional influencing skills, you will have the credibility and gravitas to secure buy-in and embed best-practice procurement.To be successful, you will have demonstrable procurement experience and the ability to apply best-practice strategic sourcing principles, be results orientated; comfortable identifying, setting & delivering against stretch targets within a fast-paced, commercial working environment.
