Process Manufacturing EngineerSouth Wales£50,000 - £55,000Yolk Recruitment is exclusively partnered with this established global engineering business to recruit a Process Manufacturing Engineer at their South Wales manufacturing HQ.This position sits at the heart of operations with responsibility for optimising efficiency, reducing waste, and improving quality and safety performance relating to new launch and existing production. Alongside process improvement responsibility the role also includes the supervision of the site maintenance function, ensuring preventative maintenance systems are effective and aligned with production performance goals. This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership within a complex manufacturing environment, influencing both process performance and equipment reliability in a business that values practical engineering leadership. With clear long-term succession planning in place, the successful candidate will play an important part in strengthening engineering capability for the future.This is what you'll be doingIdentify and implement opportunities to optimise efficiency, waste, quality and safety across production/assembly linesDevelop and implement new manufacturing processes and proceduresReview, evaluate and improve existing process control documentation (SPCs etc)Supporting new product and process introductions, including capability and viability studiesLead the project management of changes to production processesApplying lean manufacturing principles and supporting continuous improvement activityWorking closely with maintenance to improve reliabilitySupporting installation and development of new or modified production linesEnsuring process changes are controlled, documented and sustainableThe experience you'll brin
