Process Engineer - Gloucester People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Process Engineer - Gloucester to join our well-established client based in Gloucester on a full-time permanent basis. Shifts• Monday to Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm• Friday: 8:30am - 3:30pm Salary• £40,000 - £45,000 per annum Benefits• Room for career growth and progression• Ongoing training and development• Permanent position Day-to-Day Duties• Support the value stream team with day-to-day Process Engineering activities• Utilise standard Process Engineering tools to complete tasks accurately and consistently• Complete PFMEA and Control Plan activities alongside the Quality Engineer• Ensure SOPs are up to date for all production processes and products• Develop and maintain production process maps using Value Stream Mapping, Yamazumi charts, Spaghetti diagrams, and MOST time studies• Identify and implement process improvements to increase flow, reduce waste, and control costs• Manage tooling within the allocated value stream• Analyse manufacturing process data and propose solutions for continuous improvement• Provide technical support to resolve process issues and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)• Support the introduction of new products and processes• Participate in Lean improvement events• Support cross-functional teams with root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures• Maintain Process Engineering KPI reporting• Support annual improvement plans and audit schedules• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulator
