Full-Time Teaching Assistant
Randstad Education is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants (TAs) for full-time roles across a variety of primary and secondary schools. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in student's lives and join a supportive network of education professionals.
Location: Redhill, Reigate, Lingfield, Horley and Crawley
Salary: £85 - £95 per day
Contract: Full-time, Long-term/Permanent
The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the class teacher and ensuring a positive and effective learning environment for all students. Your duties may include:
Providing one-on-one or small-group support to students, focusing on literacy, numeracy, and other key areas.
Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management.
Supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), following individual education plans.
Helping to create engaging and stimulating learning resources.
Supervising students during break times, lunch, and on school trips.
Monitoring and reporting on student progress and behaviour.
Fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere where every child can thrive.
What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate will be:
Passionate about education and committed to student well-being and development.
Patient, adaptable, and a strong communicator.
Experienced in working with children or young people.
A team player who can collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff.
Able to demonstrate a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
Hold a relevant qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Teaching and Learning Support) or relevant experience.
