Full-Time Teaching Assistant

Location: Redhill, Reigate, Lingfield, Horley and Crawley

Salary: £85 - £95 per day

Contract: Full-time, Long-term/Permanent

The Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the class teacher and ensuring a positive and effective learning environment for all students. Your duties may include:

• Providing one-on-one or small-group support to students, focusing on literacy, numeracy, and other key areas.

• Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management.

• Supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), following individual education plans.

• Helping to create engaging and stimulating learning resources.

• Supervising students during break times, lunch, and on school trips.

• Monitoring and reporting on student progress and behaviour.

• Fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere where every child can thrive.

What We're Looking For:

The ideal candidate will be:

• Passionate about education and committed to student well-being and development.

• Patient, adaptable, and a strong communicator.

• Experienced in working with children or young people.

• A team player who can collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff.

• Able to demonstrate a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.

• Hold a relevant qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Teaching and Learning Support) or relevant experience.
