When you think of the United Arab Emirates, you might think desert... but in the city of Al Ain, think again! Dubbed 'The Garden City', Al Ain - which means "the spring" - is neatly filled with oases, gardens, amusement parks, exotic animals, museums and more, and is situated in the far east of the UAE. Close to the border with Oman, the city falls into the emirate of Abu Dhabi. There are traces of human history dating back over 4,000 years here, remarkable tombs and examples of early irrigation that can't be found anywhere else in the UAE. Modern Al Ain is also a vibrant, forward-facing city with a commitment to recreation that rivals its dedication to museums and culture, and this tranquil location hosts an abundance of attractions beyond its pretty flowers!

Role Overview

You will be teaching in either a Grade 1 (Year 2) or Grade 3 (Year 4) class, utilising the primary Cambridge UK curriculum.

Requirements

• Must have a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education / Primary Education OR a Bachelors degree (any) with a PGCE in Early Years Education or Primary Education.
• 2 years of post-qualification experience teaching the required age range.
• Single applicants only.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Previous experience in an ESL environment is advantageous.
• Flexible and creative.
