About the Role
Are you a passionate and dedicated Primary SEN Teacher looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of children with special educational needs?
We're working with a welcoming and inclusive primary SEN school in Oldham that provides exceptional support for pupils with a range of needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who believes in nurturing every child's potential through creativity, patience, and a tailored learning approach.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for children with a range of SEN needs.
Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
Collaborate with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and external agencies to provide holistic support.
Track and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed.
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to foster trust and consistency.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential.
Experience teaching pupils with special educational needs (either in a special or mainstream school).
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
Empathetic, flexible, and committed to inclusive education.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
