Vacancy for a car delivery driver, driving our pick up truck and 3500kg trailer collecting and delivering mainly new unregistered prestige vehicles around the UK. Job is home based but will require secure off road parking for the truck and trailer (ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT) . Job mainly involves early morning starts and will be covering most of the UK within travelling distance of home. Current drivers are earning £40,000 to £50,000 per annum on a self employed basis. No mandatory weekend work or Bank Holidays. Previous industry experience preferred (large trailer or caravan towing experience essential). Must be 25 years old minimum and have a UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points. Candidate needs to be well presented as our main clients are Mercedes, BMW, Jaguar Land Rover, etc as well as some very high end prestige car suppliers. Main attributes required would be able to work on own initiative, friendly and polite. Due to the recent law change in December 2021 anyone over the age of 25 will be able to tow a trailer on their current car licence without having to take a test. Candidate would be expected to possibly stay away one night per week to travel to Northern Ireland via ferry (accomodation and expenses provided)
