- Salary: £25,191 - £25,590 per annum (pro-rata for part-time)
- Working Hours: 22.2 hours per week over 4 or 5 mornings Monday - Friday working pattern will be agreed with Management taking into account both service needs and the requirements of the successful applicant.

- An opportunity has arisen for a Premises Officer to join our busy Premises Support Team at Snibston Heritage, Coalville
- About the Role
You will be responsible for, among other duties
- Unlocking and locking Leicestershire County Council buildings at the Snibston site
- Undertaking minor repairs
- Carrying out health and safety checks
- Liaising with contractors
- General upkeep of the buildings
- The successful applicant may also be required to work outside normal hours to deal with emergencies.
- An enhanced DBS check is required for this post.

- About You
To apply for this post, you must be able to evidence in your application how you meet the following criteria
- Relevant experience in general DIY and maintenance work
- Literacy skills to complete diaries, claim forms, and H&S records
- An understanding of statutory building compliance testing
- Excellent communication skills to report issues and liaise with the team
- Flexibility in working hours and a willingness to attend site at any time to deal with emergencies
- The ability to carry out heavy manual handling, use your own initiative, and work without constant supervision
- You must also demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
