School Site ManagerVenn Group is working with a leading independent school to recruit a Site Manager to ensure the smooth running, safety, and compliance of multiple school sites.Location: Wandsworth, LondonSalary: £38,000–£40,000 per yearHours: 47.5 hours per week (term time), 40 hours per week (school closure periods)Leave: 25 days plus 8 bank holidaysRole Overview The Site Manager plays a key operational role in maintaining buildings and grounds, managing a small team, and coordinating contractors. This is a hands-on position requiring strong leadership and practical maintenance skills.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and direct site supervisors and contractorsOversee day-to-day maintenance and emergency repairsUndertake plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks where feasibleEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations (fire safety, asbestos, legionella, COSHH)Conduct regular inspections and update risk assessmentsManage budgets and procurement for planned worksMaintain site security and support school eventsEssential RequirementsExperience in maintenance/facilities (carpentry, plumbing, painting)Full UK driving licenceStrong leadership and organisational skillsKnowledge of health and safety standardsIT literacy and good communication skillsExperience in a school environmentDesirableIOSH/NEBOSH qualificationPersonal AttributesWithin 30 minutes commute of WandsworthPractical, proactive, and team-orientedFlexible and able to work in a child-safe mannerSafeguarding: This role involves regulated activity with
