If you enjoy variety, autonomy, and getting to build long-term relationships rather than simply processing work, this role offers exactly that.The client is looking for someone who is at practice accountant level/ bookkeeper who has a sound knowledge and understanding of tax.What you’ll be doing: • Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and rental clients • Preparing and reviewing limited company accounts • Producing corporation tax computations and company tax returns • Calculating personal tax liabilities and completing self-assessments • Supporting clients with MTD ITSA transition and reporting • Managing and developing client relationships across a broad mix of industries • Organising your own workflow and ensuring deadlines are metWhat we’re looking for: • Background within an accountancy practice • Confident with general tax across both personal and corporate • Strong technical ability with Excel and accounting software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks etc.) • Someone reliable, steady under pressure, and naturally good at communicating with clients • Comfortable working in a smaller, friendly team and taking ownership of their workloadWhat’s on offer: • Salary up to £33,000 depending on experience • Direct mentorship and day-to-day access to the practice owner • Clear progression in responsibility as you embed into the client base • Flexibil
