About

Overview We’re looking for a detail-oriented Pokémon TCG enthusiast to review daily eBay listings and identify gradable cards worth purchasing. You’ll be responsible for spotting high-quality English and Japanese cards that are potential candidates for professional grading. There’s no budget limit — the focus is purely on quality and condition. ⸻ What You’ll Do • Review daily eBay email notifications (around 1,200–1,500 emails per day, covering roughly 6,000 new listings). • Identify mint or near-mint Pokémon cards that meet the grading criteria. • Save or send links to promising listings in a shared document or message for review. ⸻ What Makes a Card Gradable A card is considered gradable if it meets most or all of these criteria: 1. Condition • No visible scratches, whitening, dents, creases, or edge wear. • Sharp corners, clean borders, and smooth surface under light. 2. Centring • Borders should be evenly aligned on all sides (front and back). • Off-centred cards are less desirable for grading. 3. Authenticity • Real Pokémon card texture, colour, and font (avoid fakes or proxies). • Back of the card should have the correct deep blue tone — not faded or overly bright. ⸻ What We’re Looking For • Strong attention to detail and patience with large daily email volumes. • Familiarity with Pokémon cards, especially identifying print quality, condition, and rarity. • Comfortable evaluating both English and Japanese listings (Japanese exclusives and promos are highly valued). • Reliable communication and consistent daily updates. ⸻ Notes • Prioritise quality over quantity — even one excellent find per day is valuable. • If unsure about a card’s condition or authenticity, flag it for review rather than skipping it.
