About
I host a business podcast focused on AI and emerging tech, where I interview founders and leaders driving innovation. Episodes are recorded on Riverside, and my podcast questions come from ChatGPT before the session. After each recording, I share a Google Doc with notes from myself and the guest. I’m looking for a podcast assistant to manage everything after the recording from editing to uploads and promotional materials. You’ll use tools like Opus, ChatGPT, Canva, and WordPress, following a clear, repeatable process for each episode. Your role will include: • Cleaning and enhancing podcast audio/video (noise cancellation, voice improvement, filler removal) • Creating short video snippets in Opus with suitable B-roll • Writing engaging episode titles and descriptions using ChatGPT and interview notes • Uploading episodes to Spotify, YouTube, and WordPress • Creating simple Canva artwork (guest + host photo) to announce upcoming interviews • Writing a short LinkedIn caption to accompany video snippets • Keeping files well-labeled, organized, and delivered on time This is a part-time, ongoing rol ideal for someone who’s creative, detail-oriented, and confident using AI and digital tools. Proven experience as a podcast assistant, video editor, or virtual assistant handling media/content workflows • Proficiency with Riverside, Opus, ChatGPT, Canva, and WordPress • Basic audio/video editing skills (noise reduction, filler removal, level balancing) • Strong written English able to write clear, concise descriptions and captions • Reliable internet connection and fast turnaround time • Organized and detail-oriented able to manage multiple tasks per episode • Familiarity with YouTube Studio and Spotify for Podcasters is a plus
