Established for almost 20 years, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional, hands-on training in small class sizes, ensuring every student receives personalised attention.

Competitive Compensation & Structure
This self-employed contract offers a highly competitive daily rate, ranging between £140 and £220 per day, varying based on the class size and your proven experience.
- This rate is paid per course delivered (3-day Advanced or 4-day Beginners).
- Specific tiered rates will be fully disclosed during the initial phone screening.
The Role and Opportunity: Consistent, Flexible Teaching
This role is ideal for an experienced professional looking for consistent, supplementary income with flexible teaching hours, built around your self-employed schedule.
- Teaching Commitment: We aim to offer our tutors work every week for our 3-day (Advanced) and 4-day (Beginners) courses. This work is strictly contingent on achieving a minimum of 3 students and a maximum of 5 students per course booking.
- Optimised Schedule: Courses run from 8:30 AM daily. You benefit from significantly shorter working days compared to traditional college hours:
- 4-Day Beginners Course (Mon-Thu): Early finish on the final day (2:30 PM).
- 3-Day Advanced Course (Mon-Wed): Early finish on two days (3:30 PM) and the final day (2:30 PM).
- Flexible Schedule: Work is project-based and can include consecutive weekend blocks to maximise your earning potential.
- Focus on Delivery, on high-quality practical delivery, with minimal administrative burden.
- Small Class Focus: Deliver our established, structured curriculum to small groups only (3-5 students), focusing on core skills like drylining, skimming, Bonding, Patchwork, Feathering and rendering.
What We Are Looking For
While we are committed to providing a supportive environment, we seek contractors who embody the highest level of professional reliability.
- Minimum Qualification: NVQ Level 2 in Plastering (or equivalent recognised trade qualification).
- Proven Expertise : Deep, demonstrable knowledge of all plastering techniques.
- Commitment to Structure: A willingness to strictly follow and deliver the C S Plastering School's established curriculum and safety protocols.
- Exceptional Reliability: The ability to commit to, and adhere strictly to, agreed-upon teaching dates and schedules—critical for self-employed status.
- Legal Right to Work: Must be legally eligible to work in the UK.
- Advanced DBS check (dated within the last three years) or be willing to undergo and pass a new check prior to the contract starting.
