Zenith People are working with a well-established client seeking a full-time Plant Fitter with hands-on experience in heavy-duty machinery including steamers, rollers, tractors and fork lift trucks. A background in yellow goods or aircraft maintenance is highly desirable.Key Responsibilities:Assemble and service proprietary mechanical equipment built in-house.Diagnose faults and liaise directly with customers during breakdowns to ensure timely resolution.Maintain and repair existing machinery and systems supplied by the company.Collaborate within a small, detail-oriented team, ensuring clear communication and thorough follow-up on technical issues.While primarily site-based, the role includes occasional travel across the UK, with overnight stays as required—typically monthly but subject to change.Basic computer skills are essential for diagnostics and reporting.Day Shift Monday to FridayThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for robust mechanical systems and a knack for problem-solving in dynamic environments.
