We work across specialist teams focusing on Child Abuse, Child Sexual Exploitation, and safeguarding adults. Together, we strive to investigate and prevent offences that threaten the safety of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. Key Responsibilities:As a PIP 2 Investigator, you will: Conduct thorough investigations in line with public protection directives.Collaborate with police and partner agencies, while also working independently.Engage with witnesses, prepare statements, and manage exhibits per legal standards.Participate in multi-agency meetings to foster information sharing and safeguard vulnerable individuals.Produce comprehensive reports and files for presentation to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).Act as Officer in Charge (OIC) in court hearings, providing evidence as required.
