Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are packed efficiently and accurately, ready for shipment. This position requires a strong focus on quality control and the ability to handle various materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Duties

• Pack products securely and efficiently for shipping, ensuring all items meet quality standards.
• Manage stock levels and assist in inventory control using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all packed items are free from damage and meet specifications.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily packing targets and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or packing role is preferred but not essential.
• Familiarity with materials handling processes and equipment, including forklifts.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout the shift.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

We are a fast growing internet retailer based in Lasham As we continue to expand, new members of the team are needed to ensure orders are sent out quickly and correctly. The work is lively and fast paced,

Full TIME

Hours: 8-4pm

DAYS: 5 days - Monday-Friday.

Tasks include but will not be limited to:

Packing orders to deadline

Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy

Above all we are looking for someone who can demonstrate the right attitude and make a positive contribution to our team.

Accuracy is highly important.

The applicant should ideally have the following:

Ability to quickly work out the most efficient practice

Ability to work independently and be very detailed oriented

Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure quality requirements Good time-management skill
