  • Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and effective piano lessons to students of all ages and skill levels.
  • Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to foster improvement.
  • Create and implement individualised lesson plans tailored to each student's needs and goals.
  • Prepare students for performances, recitals, and examinations, ensuring they are fully supported in their musical journey.
  • Maintain a positive and encouraging classroom environment that promotes learning and creativity.
  • Stay updated on the latest teaching methodologies and music trends to continually improve teaching practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Music Education, Piano performance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching piano to students, preferably in a primary or secondary education setting.
  • Strong proficiency in piano performance and music theory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students and parents.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their musical goals.
  • Knowledge of a variety of musical styles and genres to enhance teaching effectiveness.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
  • £40/hour.
